THE APPLICATION OF THOMAS COSGROVE AND DECKMAN MOTOR & PUMP, INC, APPLICATION #2020-04. The property is UPI No. 27-2-69, also known as 140 Dawson Drive. The property is owned by Thomas Cosgrove and Mary Selan, is located in the LI-Limited Industrial District of the Township, and is approximately 2.0 acres in area. The Applicants seek a variance from §370-310 (Expiration of special exceptions and variances) which requires an applicant to obtain a building permit or a use and occupancy permit within two years from the date of authorization, to reinstate the special exception and variances granted by the Schuylkill Township Zoning Hearing Board on July 18, 1996 regarding the development of an industrial park on the property.  Alternatively, the Applicants seek a special exception pursuant to §370-93 (Lot size, height, area and bulk regulations) of the Schuylkill Township Zoning Ordinance to reduce the minimum lot size (3 acres) to not less than one acre, and reduce the minimum width at the front lot line (300 feet), minimum lot width at the building line (300 feet), and front, rear and side yard setback requirements (75 feet each), and variances from §370-94 (Vehicular ingress and egress) and §370-97 (Off-street parking in yards) to permit an ADA-compliant parking space to be located adjacent to the front door of the proposed new building on the property where it is otherwise prohibited.  Read the full notice here.
