NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Schuylkill Township, Chester County, is soliciting bids for EQUIPMENT RENTAL & SNOW REMOVAL. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Bid Proposal for Equipment Rental & Snow Removal, Opening of October 6, 2021.” Proposals will be on forms furnished by Schuylkill Twp and submitted to said Township, 111 Valley Park Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460 no later than 5:00 p.m. prevailing time on Oct. 6, 2021.  Bids will be opened and publicly read at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Oct. 6, 2021 beginning at 7:30 p.m. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid as a proposal guarantee. NOTE: Contractor must be PennDOT prequalified in excavating and grading, bituminous paving, drainage (storm sewers), and inlets, manholes, etc. All equipment to be furnished with operator and fuel.

The Board of Supervisors accepts no responsibility for bids mailed, but not received. Schuylkill Township reserves the right to accept or reject all or any portion of any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or technicalities and to make the award in the best interest of the Township.
