Ambulance services to the Township are provided by the West End Fire Company Number 3 of Phoenixville.

The company is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week by a very well-trained and professional staff of cross-trained team members consisting of Paramedics, Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, and Basic Emergency Medical Technicians. All 35-plus of the career team members have a minimum of Fire Fighter I certification issued through the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and The Pro Board (Pro-Board) along with their medical certifications and various other fire fighting and rescue certifications.

The company also provides community education classes such as Stop the Bleed and CPR certification and EMS stand-by services throughout the year for various public and private events.

In 2016 West End Fire Company Number 3 of Phoenixville merged into Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company to provide emergency services to Schuylkill Township, East Pikeland Township, portions of Charlestown Township, and West Vincent Township. It is still known as “West End” but operates one team with Valley Forge Fire Company.
