Oakwood Lane Subdivision (Proposed)
- Description: Preliminary Subdivision Application proposing the construction of 60 single family detached residential homes, in addition to one existing single family detached residential family home which will remain, for a total of 61 single-family detached homes.
- Status: The preliminary subdivision application was received by the Township on October 8th, 2025. The application has been initially reviewed by the Township Engineer and Township Traffic Engineer, with comments provided to the applicant for review and response. The applicant attended the Schuylkill Township Planning Commission and presented their proposed plans on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025. No recommendation was made by the Planning Commission at that time. The next step in the Subdivision & Land Development process is for the applicant to review and respond to the engineering comments, submit revised plans, and return to the Planning Commission to seek a recommendation.

Sedgley Farms
- Description: Sedgley Farm is a 64.7-acre parcel of land located at 930 Valley Forge Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Sedgley Farm is situated on Valley Forge Road between Valley Forge National Park and Phoenixville Borough, and adjacent to the Pickering Creek Reservoir.
- Status: Schuylkill Township completed the Open Space acquisition of the Sedgley Farm property. The Township has engaged Simone Collins to complete the Pre-Master Planning process and is working with the firm to pursue grant funding for the Master Planning phase. At this time, public access to the property is not permitted while the Township undertakes initial planning and completes its preservation efforts.

Municipal Complex Renovation Project
- Description: Schuylkill Township is undergoing a renovation to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the Township Municipal Complex.
- Status: Alloy5 completed the feasibility study and concept design phase. The Schuylkill Township Board of Supervisors approved the Alloy5 architectural services proposal for the municipal complex.

Route 23 Sidewalk Project
- Description: The installation of a sidewalk on Rt. 23/Valley Forge Road from the Phoenixville Borough line to White Horse Road to address the current lack of pedestrian infrastructure and enhance walkability.
- Status: The Township is working on plan revisions in accordance with comments provided by PennDOT.
Schuylkill Township Potential Intersection Projects
- Description: Bowman, Schuylkill Township's appointed Traffic Engineer, presented a Transportation Evaluation to highlight potential intersection projects & grant pursuit.
- Status: The Board of Supervisors approved a proposal from Bowman for Conceptual Design and Grant Application for future traffic improvements at Pothouse Road/ W. Bridge Street/ Charlestown Road on March 13, 2024.

Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP)
- Description: The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) required Schuylkill Township to develop and implement a Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP) for Municipal Separate Stormwater System (MS4) discharges to the impaired watercourse of Valley Creek.
- Status: The PRP construction is complete.
Wawa
- Description: A Wawa is proposed at 799 Valley Forge Road to replace the current Exxon.
- Status: The Board of Supervisors granted Preliminary/Final Approval on April 10, 2024, subject to certain conditions. The list of conditions can be found in Amended Resolution No. 2024-12 available for download below.

Creek Road Bridge
- Description: Chester County will be replacing the Creek Road Bridge structure over Pickering Creek to meet PennDOT standards.
- Status: Chester County is in the Final Design Phase and construction is to be completed by Fall 2024.

Paul Lemen Drive Project
- Description: Improvements to the Storm Water Management System located on Paul Lemen Drive due to the continuous erosion generated by the runoff stormwater flowing from the hills of North Forge Mountain Road down to Paul Lemen Drive.
- Status: Paul Lemen Drive construction is complete and DOLI Construction has entered the maintenance bond period.
Schuylkill Township Traffic Engineer
- Description: Bowman, Schuylkill Township's appointed Traffic Engineer, conducted a Signal Warrant Evaluation for Valley Forge Road (S.R. 0023) and Dorchester Way/Moorehall Drive.
- Status: Upon review of the signal warrant analysis, the traffic volumes do not currently satisfy the requirements for the installation of a traffic signal control at the intersection Valley Forge Road (S.R. 0023) and Dorchester Way/Moorehall Drive.
